Physical Medicine at the Center for Natural Healing
When I was in my first year of college at the University of Delaware, I had my first experience with an MD, besides my pediatrician. I went to him because I was having stress; not sleeping well and feeling tired. I remember being shocked after the visit by the doctor's lack of apparent care about how I felt. I particularly noticed that he didn't touch me. I am told by my patients that they often have similar experiences. It is for that reason that I promised myself, that when I became a doctor, I would sincerely care for my patientsand would make sure to touch each one. Part of each treatment at the Center for Natural Healing involves a full "body balancing treatment" which includes any combination of the following:
acupressure
lymphatic drainage treatment
joint mobilization
myofascial release
massage therapy
trigger point therapy
spinal and cranial alignment,
acupuncture
My intent is to assist you in truly HEALING your body with warm, caring nourishment to the physical senses. Please allow us to nuture you when you visit us at the Center for Natural Healing.
