For many, the road to health can seem overwhelming. We usually know what we need to do – eat a healthier diet, drink more water, exercise more often – but we lack the energy or motivation to make those day-to-day changes in our lifestyle.
Even people who are very disciplined in some aspect of their life may lack discipline in crucial areas relating to their health. Often, this has to do with the underlying and unaddressed fears that we carry around every day. When we feel fear, we often compensate by eating comfort food, zoning out by watching TV, or self-medicating with alcohol or other drugs.
