Its time to start planning Healthy Meals!
One way to move from the “bacon & eggs/meat & potatoes” routine is to write a diet diary of what you usually eat and then gradually substitute healthy foods for the ones you want to eliminate. In this way, you can change as slowly as you need. Another way is to buy a natural food cookbook and use their ideas & recipes for menus. Once whole foods become more familiar, you will find your choices will be much greater than before when Planning Meals –
Following the general guidelines, a daily food plan might look like this:
1 Glass of Purified Water & Fresh Fruit
More Fresh Fruits in Proper combinations. (read more about food combinations in my book: The Wisdom of Well Being: The Joy of Eating for Kids and their Moms)
Whole Grain Cereal or Manna Bread, Fruit or Vegetable Juice, Herbal Tea.
Herbal Tea, Salad with Avocado, Grains & Beans, Raw vegetable slices or vegetable juice.
Lentil/Carrot Soup, Brown Rice, Sprout Salad, Legume & Grain combination, Tomato Juice.
Chamomile Tea with Honey, Homemade Banana Ice Cream.
