Get outside every day. Miracles are waiting everywhere.
One of the greatest of life’s pleasures is the enjoyment of nature. Even if it is only for 15 to 20 minute walk in a park or along a river, or perhaps in your own garden, we all need time away from the hustle and bustle of the daily demands from work, family; and the environment: noise, pollutants, crowds, phones, television, traffic, concrete, and steel.
When we go out into nature, we can commune with the elements, connect with the primal force, and listen to the sounds of life.
Did you know that spending time in Nature makes people more caring?
That’s what some researchers at the University of Rochester say, but if you spent any time engaged with the natural environment, you may have already experienced such feelings of enlightenment, gratitude, and caring.
Focus on the sound of the breeze, the birds, and the water. Inhale the aromas of the earth and its creatures and flora. Taste the air or, if possible, the fruits of the earth. Relish the sights and the colors, the horizon, and the sky. Touch the earth with your feet, the textures of rocks and trees, the coolness of a running brook, the sand between your fingers.
Close your eyes and imagine you are one with nature…because you are!
