Natural Pregnancy

Creating and Maintaining a Healthy Pregnancy

Over the 20 years of my professional practice, I have worked with innumerable women in Honolulu, Hawaii, on the island of Oahu, who were having difficulty either with conceiving a baby or sustaining a natural pregnancy for the duration required in order to have a healthy baby.

I hadn’t realized how traumatic a miscarriage was until I was 39 years old and experienced one myself. A healthy pregnancy is a delicate balance, and loss of that balance can be both physically and emotionally damaging.

At the time, due to my strong belief that everything happens just the way it is supposed to, I trusted that this was nature’s way of preventing a future complication. At no time did I ever question whether I would be able to get pregnant naturally and conceive and deliver at a later time.

I decided in my own mind that the miscarriage was like a final cleanse, enhancing my uterus in getting ready to be the home for the growing baby that I knew was imminent. I also understood that it was imperative that I discover what my body was deficient in so that I could build up my strength and reserves for the next pregnancy, which happened six months later.

When assisting my patients, current mothers, mothers-to-be and aspiring new mothers-to-be, I go to great effort to determine what preliminary work will be necessary to ensure that conception will occur and a holistic pregnancy will be maintained. I encourage, recommend and ensure sufficient and excellent nutrition, a serene disposition, a positive mental attitude and appropriate exercise programs, as well as proper, highest quality supplements that meet each woman’s particular needs. Supplements are tested to determine the best selection for the woman. (Remember, all supplements are not created equally.) I also suggest a pregnancy calendar for a better understanding of pregnancy week by week.

Oftentimes, after hearing a woman’s history, I recommend a gentle and systematic detoxification program prior to a pregnancy prep program, as this will enable the future mother to have an easy and enjoyable pregnancy and reduce the likelihood that she will experience extreme fatigue and low energy during the nine months and thereafter.

A pre-conception detoxification program will also make it much easier for the mother to get into top shape after delivering, will enhance quality milk production, may prevent pregnancy headache, will prevent post-partum depression and will enable you to enjoy motherhood so very much more.

After the detoxification process is complete, nutritional absorption and vital force is enhanced, and getting pregnant occurs as it is intended in most cases.

No drugs, no hormone injections—just a normal, natural conception and delivery, and a healthy, happy baby and mom.
